Your vote, your voice.

This past weekend, I was canvassing voters in Holly Springs when I had a great conversation with a young woman on her front porch. She was there with her baby daughter, had recently moved into her new home, and was getting to know her new neighbors.

We talked about her family and her work, and I shared some of my own experience—especially the years I’ve spent working in child protection. Before I left, I asked for her vote.

She told me she hadn’t updated her voter registration since moving. We pulled up the Mississippi Secretary of State’s voter registration website together and checked her status. She wasn’t registered at her new address, but she told me she would take care of it.

That conversation stayed with me.

Elections matter to families. They matter to people who believe in accountability. They matter to people who may one day need the help of an intervention court. And they matter to all of us.

Registering to vote is the first step toward making your voice heard in our great country. Registration ends October 3, 2026.

Your vote is your voice.

If you’ve moved recently or aren’t sure whether your registration is current, take a moment to check it. The Mississippi Secretary of State provides instructions for registering and updating your information, or you can visit your local circuit clerk’s office.

Make sure your voice is heard on Election Day.
